Our role: subcontractor
Our tasks: development of a train-the-trainers concept for „learning supporters for informal learning“, piloting of a training for learning supporters, evaluation of the project
The EASY Incl. project seeks to improve the quality, desirability, and accessibility of adult education in Europe. Looking to increase the general participation in education, this project is developing an innovative concept of low-level educational work in small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) and non-governmental organizations (NGO): education will be established in everyday situations and ordinary places. For that purpose, employees at SMEs/NGOs (e.g. elderly daycare or childcare facilities, libraries, museums) will be qualified as “educational specialists/learning facilitators on site”. They will learn how to detect and recognize their clients’ educational needs and how to develop matching low-level educational offers (like a “grandparenting licence” in elderly care, an intercultural parents’ breakfast in childcare facilities, etc.). A qualification concept for “educational specialists/learning facilitators on site” as well as a manual including CD ROM will be released introducing options, approaches, techniques, and practical methods for establishing informal and self-directed non-formal education in SMEs/NGOs.
